my urbanscapes

The project materializes my perspective of the pavements on my journeys in Antwerp. I photographed details of the streets which grabbed my attention. The brooch collection is responding to these images. The wearable compositions are based on found materials which I collected during my walks from the streets, workshops, gardens. Due to this fact they visualize a certain connection between me and my environment. Using cold connections, I could play with different kind of materials, colours and textures, creating a contact between them.
